Following the successful completion of the acceleration program of the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition 2021, we would like to congratulate the participating teams on their commitment and dedication to the program and their business idea. To celebrate their achievement, we invite everyone to attend the Awards Ceremony of the CyEC2021 that will take place on the 15th of December.

As part of our standing tradition, the CyEC 2021 Awards Ceremony is incorporated within the 6^th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum, hosted annually by the Center for Entrepreneurship. This year forum’s topic is entitled "Higher Education: The Third Mission" addressing the challenges and driving forces that academia faces in translating research results into innovative solutions, capable of corresponding to socio economic demands.

The forum's keynotes speaker this year is Katerina Pramatari, an associate Professor at Athens University of Economics and Business, Scientific Coordinator ACEin and Partner at Uni.Fund. Mrs. Pramatari will give a lecture entitled "The need for the development of entrepreneurial competencies and the role of Universities in research commercialization", followed by a discussion panel with distinguished guests within the Cyprus academia.

The Awards Ceremony will proceed in session two of the forum's agenda, giving all participating teams the chance to pitch their improved business idea to the panel of judges and the general public. The three best teams, demonstrating dedication, engagement and execution will be rewarded with the CyEC 2021 price award.
