Navigating Entrepreneurship: Lessons from Personal Missteps or Exploring Entrepreneurship: Lessons from Personal Failures

Synopsis:

«As an entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio in various fields, my journey has been marked by experimentation and resilience. Over the years, I've explored different industries, formed diverse teams, and explored a multitude of ideas. While not all of my endeavors have met with success, I consider those failures as valuable lessons that have shaped my perspective. I have saved those mistakes and in this upcoming lecture, I'll share my experiences and insights, focusing on common mistakes that entrepreneurs often make. Moreover, I'll provide guidance on unconventional approaches that have proven to be more effective than sticking to conventional norms. Through my journey, I've learned that innovation often thrives outside the boundaries of tradition, and I look forward to inspiring others to embrace a similar mindset in their entrepreneurial pursuits.»

C4E 101: Series of Lectures in Innovation and Entrepreneurship - Fall 2023

Speakers: Katia Kyriakoudes, Masters - Web and Smart Systems

Katia graduated with a degree in European Studies at the UCY, and that experience led her to some incredible opportunities. It all began when she discovered C4E at the university, which opened up a world of possibilities and the path she took next. Together with a diverse and talented team that she was fortunate to meet at C4E, they created a robot for scanning the UCY library books. Later on, at the European Innovation Academy (EIA), where she formed a new team, they earned a patent pending in the US for a machine aimed at addressing breast cancer. The journey didn't stop there; She was fortunate to secure a full scholarship as an award by the Digital Championship at Frederick University to dive deep into computer science, specifically focusing on Web and Smart Systems even if she had no background related. And on the side of all this, she has the number one female YouTube channel in Cyprus and Greece. It's been quite a journey, and she is passionate about innovation, education, and creating digital content.
