The importance of incorporation for the startup businesses Owning start-up businesses can be both a promising and risky venture. One way, therefore, to enhance access to market as well as to limit one’s personal liability is by incorporating one’s start-up businesses in the form of Cyprus registered companies. This will particularly lead to more efficient business and financial connections as well as access to international markets, thereby promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in domains associated with intellectual properties and new technologies.

Demetris is a practicing lawyer currently the Director-Head Legal Consultant at Kesconsult & Management Limited in Nicosia and an advocate at Andreas Tamasios law office.
Demetris successfully address through professional work the challenge of applying advanced theoretical and practical legal knowledge to systematic, analytical processes in the development of Cyprus Business law framework, including include Private involvement in the oil and gas industry, corporate and commercial law, tax practice, corporate practice as well as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and Public Private Partnership law.
Demetris has over 15 years of local and international experience in business training. In Cyprus, he has recently trained professionals from organisations including Barclays Bank Plc, Ernst & Young Cyprus Ltd, Emservis Management, Hulme Consulting Ltd, Sovereign Trust Ltd, Prime XM Services Cy Ltd, Oneworld Ltd, OTA Orphanides Trust Agency Ltd, Executive Business Consultants Ltd and SMC Med Trustees CY Ltd.
He is a visiting lecturer at the Cyprus International Institute of Management since January 2012 (teaching Company Law and Corporate Finance, Business and Company law in Cyprus, Business Entities and Tax Governance in Cyprus Business organization) and in the University of Nicosia since January 2017 (teaching Engineering Contract Law and PPP Methods). He has also taught in the IDEA Programme Accelerator training in May 2017, the subjects of incorporation of a start –up and contract law for start-ups.
Demetris holds a Bachelors and a Masters of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona University (USA), a Bachelor in Laws (LL.B.) from Sheffield University (UK) and an MBA from CIIM (CY). He is currently a PhD candidate at Maastricht University (NL) law programme
