[09 Oct] C4E Makerspace Month: INTRO TO 3D PRINT AND DESIGN

Summary:

Participants will be introduced to a free easy-to-use online software, named Tinkercad. Through Tinkercad they will be taught the basics of 3D Design by creating a real 3D model. After creating the model, participants will learn about 3D Printing and the process of tuning and printing the model they have built.

No prior knowledge in any matters required.

The workshop is intended for anyone that has no knowledge of 3D Design and Printing. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops with them.

Trainer:

Odysseas Economides, Founder of Robo and Teembly.

Odysseas Economides is an Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of Cyprus and winner of Student Innovators Competition of C4E 2018. He graduated from the European Innovation Academy at 2018 and from IDEA Incubator Accelerator at early 2019. He is the Founder of Robo and Teembly but also a Special Scientist supporting the course Technological Entrepreneurship, University of Cyprus.
