Summary:
IDEA Innovation Centre is an incubator-accelerator for Start-ups aspiring to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Cyprus and supports young persons – entrepreneurs – who are determined to turn their innovative idea into a viable business. IDEA Innovation Centre has been awarded as the winner at a European level, surpassing 29 other countries, in the European Commission’s Enterprise Promotion Awards for “Investing in Entrepreneurial Skills” (https://www.facebook.com/ideacy/videos/507151453232512/). IDEA is the only non-profit, comprehensive innovation centre in Cyprus aiming to develop successful startups, create entrepreneurial culture and elevate Cyprus into a regional innovation hub.
IDEA has also been awarded with the Gold award for “Excellence in Public-Private Cooperation” and Silver award in “Cause Advocacy” by the Cyprus Responsible Business Awards.

Mrs Angela Panayiotou, Manager IDEA, will present us the work done at IDEA, hosting 48 start-ups so far and more than 100 entrepreneurs, along with the new call for applications to join IDEA. Two start-ups which are in the current cycle of IDEA will present us their work and experience.
