Nicosia, August 03rd, 2023 - The highly anticipated launch of the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition (CyEC) 2023 is announced today.
Organized by the Centre of Entrepreneurship (C4E) of the University of Cyprus under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry, the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition fosters innovation and entrepreneurship in today's dynamic and innovation-driven economy.
CyEC, brings together startups and early-stage innovators with prominent professionals and experts from the Cypriot and global business and research ecosystem. This vibrant community of supporters is dedicated to empowering and nurturing entrepreneurial initiatives.
As a business development competition focusing on startups, CyEC. It offers ambitious teams a platform to receive guidance and support from experienced mentors and industry leaders. The Competition strives to support promising ventures into viable and globally-oriented businesses, emphasizing the importance of problem-solution fit and product-market fit.
Applications are now open for CyEC 2023.
Participants can choose between two tracks:
• The Accelerate Track, tailored for early-stage ideas
• The LaunchPad Track, catering to more mature ideas and companies that have already launched in the market.

Ambitious and visionary startup founders and teams are invited to apply by submitting an executive summary by September 8th, 2023 for the Acceleration program, or a pitch deck by October 13th for the LaunchPad Program.
Following a selection process, the chosen teams will embark on a comprehensive business acceleration program tailored to refine their ideas and develop and refine competitive business plans.
In addition to business acceleration, CyEC 2023 will offer mentorship to each participating startup.
Dedicated mentors will provide tailored advice, solutions, and constructive challenges to enhance the development of each business plan.
CyEC 2023 is proud to offer two prestigious cash prizes to each winning startup. Moreover, each startup will have the chance to pitch towards and connect with investors at the event.
