From Idea to Business: How business ideas are conceived & turned into successful business models

Synopsis:

Depending how a business idea is conceived can have a major impact on the success of the business that grows from it. The lecture will start off by providing hints on what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur and how best to conceive a business idea. Once the idea is conceived, a Vision Statement needs to be constructed, followed by the development of the associated Business Model and finally the Business Plan. The lecture will focus mainly on the Vision Statement and the Business Model development, briefly covering the Business Model Canvas as one of the most popular tools for business modelling.

The Speaker:

With over 35 years of international experience, Andreas held IT Executive positions in Switzerland, Greece and Cyprus, most recently that of MD of HP Cyprus. He has founded, funded and finally exited 3 startups in Cyprus. He is the founder and CEO of CYBAN and an active Investor, and Mentor to many startups.
