Overview
G4 FRIENDS is a Cyprus-based family office investing globally in AI, space tech, defence tech and biotech venture capital funds, as well as secondary markets.

The firm is launching a competition to engage high-potential students across Cyprus in practical, investment-driven research.

The competition is a 3-month program open to university students across Cyprus. Participants will choose from one of the three given sectors, and provide investment-grade analysis that can support real-world decision-making in fund selection.

Throughout the program, students will have access to:
    • A live mentorship call with members of our VC and investment team
    • Fast-response Q&A support via WhatsApp

At the conclusion of the challenge, three (3) winning entries will be selected and awarded cash prizes in recognition of their insights and originality.

Research Track

Select ONE of the following categories:
Categories:
    1. Funds of Funds (FoFs)
    2. Secondary Market
    3. Biotech

Task: Submit a structured research package identifying the top funds in that category.

What could be included:
    ✔ Fund names & overviews
    ✔ Key metrics (vintage, AUM, strategy, geography, performance if available)
    ✔ Portfolio highlights (notable investments)
    ✔ Fund manager reputation/team insights
    ✔ Comparison analysis with clear rationale for selection
    ✔ Sources of information (e.g., PitchBook, fund websites, public reports, published articles)

Submission Guidelines
    • Task: Submit a research package including a PDF (max 5 pages) and an excel file including findings.
    • Can be individually authored or in teams of up to 2 students.
